fnatic beat NiP; top FACEIT group

fnatic are through to the FACEIT League 2015 Stage 1 semi-finals after seeing off Ninjas in Pyjamas 2-0 (16-7 on de_mirage and 16-12 on de_dust2).
Day two began with a battle of two non-European sides as Team Liquid faced off against Immunity in the Lower Bracket final of Group A. The North American side got off to a great start in the series and won the first map with ease, but then Iain "SnypeR" Turner's team picked themselves up and turned things around with a great display by their newest recruit, Karlo "USTILO" Pivac.
The next match pitted Sweden's strongest sides against one another for the top spot in the group and a place in the semi-finals. The first map of the series was de_mirage, where fnatic came out the brighter by winning the pistol round as Terrorist in a 3-on-5 situation thanks to double frags from Freddy "KRIMZ" Johansson and Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer.
KRIMZ was the MVP of the series
The first gun round of the match then went NiP's way, but fnatic regained control of the proceedings immediately after and did not take their foot off the gas until the end of the first half as they brought the scoreline to 12-3. In the second half, NiP still managed to string a few rounds together to reduce the deficit, but it was simply too little, too late, as fnatic did not take long to pick up four rounds and emerge victorious.
Next up came de_dust2, where NiP made a great start to the game by preventing a retake in B in a 3-on-5 situation. But Richard "Xizt" Landström's men were then taken by surprise in the first anti-eco round, with Markus "pronax" Wallsten getting four kills to his name. Despite the setback, NiP still managed to finish the half with a 10-5 lead, but a great offensive display from fnatic in the second half saw the ESL One Katowice champions overturn the deficit and take the victory.
